Ever since I can remember Ive always loved wearing makeup. Like every girl, I’ve gone through so many different products, both designer and drug store brands. For more than a few months I’ve been using the same 4 products for my everyday make-up routine, so I thought I would share these favs of mine that I’m loving!
My first fav essential is my foundation by IT Cosmetics. For years I had been wearing Giorgio Armani, but after meeting up with a friend and noticing her glowing skin, I literally ran to Sephora to buy and fell in love with IT Cosmetic Your Skin But Better CC+ Color Correcting Full Coverage Cream. It really smooths out the uneven discoloration without feeling heavy or look cakey. Another perk is that its hydrating and has anti-aging hydrating serum.
And of course once my skin has looks more even colored from my foundation, I need to add a little color to my cheeks to brighten up my skin. For years, I’ve been using Nar’s infamous Orgasm Blush. It give the best natural peachy pink tint to your cheeks. I recently switched from the cream stick to the powder compact and notice that it looks more natural and last much longer .
Now that my skin is more even toned and blushing, onto the eyes we go. To me someones eyes speak volumes, so I love an eye that pops and looks defined. I’ve found that liquid liner goes on so much easier and is more defined than pencil. Ive tested majority of the drug store liners and have been loving Maybelline Master Precise All Day Liquid Liner. The name speaks for itself and does last all day.
Last but not least is my new lip gloss obsession by Nar’s Istria. Since I do prefer more dramatic eye, I like a soft light colored lip. Istria is the most natural perfect pink tint for lips day or night. And it never leaves my lips feeling dry, which for an addictive chapstick user is huge. A definite must try!
So there it is…my 4 must have makeup products for everyday! If you have any amazing finds, would love to hear too!?

I felt like my skin needed a little extra help to shed its Winter dullness, so I immediately made an appointment at the Youth Corridor Clinic on the Upper Eastside of NYC. Obviously the name speaks for itself, but The Youth Corridor is a medical Facility founded by world renowned plastic surgeon and anti-aging expert Dr. Gerald Imber. I have had facials in the past at spas that offer comfy beds and yummy aromas, but other than an hour of relaxation, the treatment has no lasting benefits. Thats why when I had initially met with Denise Bissell at the Youth Corridor my expectations were not very high, but to my surprise after my treatments, my skin had immediate and lasting results. Rather than traditional spas that offer a one for all type of treatments, Denise is a medical esthetician and analyses your skins needs and then recommends a treatment and a plan of action for results One of my favorite treatments is the no peel peel, which is great for getting rid of dead skin and gives your skin a fresh glow.(Download Video to see treatment> IMG_8144
My second favorite treatment is the Yag Laser Treatment, which promotes collagen growth and makes the skin look plump and smooth. Download Video to see treatment>IMG_8140
I also love that both treatments are not harsh and do not require any downtime. I can literally leave the office and continue my day as normal. Anytime I have a special event or want my skin to look really amazing, this is the treatments I do. For actual results prices are not bad either, the peel is $250 and the Yag laser is $495 and right if you mention eye4stylenyc when booking your appointment you receive 20% off all services. Don’t miss out on your glowing skin for Summer and call to book appt 212-472-1800!

With hair salons on every block in NYC its evident that women love a good blow out! Whats not to love, there is no work involved, you look amazing and it lasts for days. I have had my fair share of blow outs, but there is nothing like getting your hair done in a top NYC salon. Recently I had my hair blown out at Julien Farel Restore Salon and Spa, located in the Loews Regency Hotel at 540 Park Ave. What makes this salon different from all the other top NYC salons is that it offers all beauty services of a spa, with massage, facials and waxing with everything for hair and it can all be done at the same time if desired. Its the perfect salon for the person who wants the best without spending all day getting it.
I met with one of their Senior Designers, Lucie Ducrot who specializes in makeovers, giving her clients something new and unique, and very easy to do. Lucie calls her hair designs “ready to wear, 5 minutes blow dry” which is really all busy New Yorkers have time for. And with Lucie’s fashion back ground, she is known for her speedy Updo’s! For clients looking for a super quick in and out of salon experience clients come with their hair washed and they are out in 15 minutes with a fabulous chignon! Have more than 15 minutes but still on a NY minute, try the salons “Power Hour” which is a manicure, pedicure and blow dry all at the same time for $165.
Julien Farel Salon offers top quality fast beauty for those with limited time, but who still want a quality and true pampering experience. Whats not to love!!
